Newest Bouquet for a Beautiful Bride!!!

Just finished this amazing bouquet for a lovely bride here in Knoxville. Each piece of jewelry is a memento from members of her family...all together they make a lovely keepsake to be passed down.
Made with all that sparkles, the stem is wrapped in satin and finished in a lace overlay.

The bride (who is keeping the bouquet a secret until the wedding!) picked each memorable piece- some that she remembered from childhood, some that represented hobbies or likes (like her cowboy boot earrings!) and much more.

If you are interested in having a personalized bouquet or floral arrangement for your special day or for your home, contact me at (865) 684-7466 or send me an email at Lilysjb@hotmail.com.

And it begins...

And as today starts the beginning of May, it also begins the season for shows, festivals and markets!!! YEAH!!! To start off this month, Friday May 4th is First Friday in Knoxville and it also kicks off National Bike Month. To honor such a great theme, I have created a line of jewelry made from salvaged bike parts.
Half of all the proceeds will be donated to my dear friend Katie who is going to bike over 500 miles-all the while building houses for the needy along her way. She is just shy of her monetary goal for this trip and I thought these two things go hand in hand.... some come out to Mast and help out a good cause.

ALSO---- FARMER'S MARKET on Market Square opens up and I will be there with bells on. Every Saturday from 9am-2pm, come and visit my booth to see new salvage creations- jewelry, terrariums, brooch bouquets and more.

The fun never ends in the crafting world. And if you believe this too be true, come out to Ijams on May 6th for the Eco Make and Take Workshop. This is where you can craft till your little heart is content. Bring something that you deem salvageable and you will get all the help you need to recreate it bigger and better than it was before.... plus there is a plethora of paint, jewelry parts, glues, flowers, scrapbook stuff, and more. Workshop goes from Noon-5pm and the cost is $10
If you have any questions or would like to attend- RSVP to 684-7466.

And your special day could look like this-

VINTAGE CHIC

Quick adds to make your table decor and trinkets unique:

*Add a variety of vintage vases (found at thrift stores) to your tables... you don't even need to put anything in them necessarily- just having the different glass together makes a lovely look.

*Use clip on earrings as place holders

*I planted jade plants and other succulents in funky teacups that I again, found at the thrift store, and placed them at the tables

Old linens, table clothes or even vintage sheets torn into strips for table runners create a fun look for not a lot of money.
