And it begins...

And as today starts the beginning of May, it also begins the season for shows, festivals and markets!!! YEAH!!! To start off this month, Friday May 4th is First Friday in Knoxville and it also kicks off National Bike Month. To honor such a great theme, I have created a line of jewelry made from salvaged bike parts.
Half of all the proceeds will be donated to my dear friend Katie who is going to bike over 500 miles-all the while building houses for the needy along her way. She is just shy of her monetary goal for this trip and I thought these two things go hand in hand.... some come out to Mast and help out a good cause.

ALSO---- FARMER'S MARKET on Market Square opens up and I will be there with bells on. Every Saturday from 9am-2pm, come and visit my booth to see new salvage creations- jewelry, terrariums, brooch bouquets and more.

The fun never ends in the crafting world. And if you believe this too be true, come out to Ijams on May 6th for the Eco Make and Take Workshop. This is where you can craft till your little heart is content. Bring something that you deem salvageable and you will get all the help you need to recreate it bigger and better than it was before.... plus there is a plethora of paint, jewelry parts, glues, flowers, scrapbook stuff, and more. Workshop goes from Noon-5pm and the cost is $10
If you have any questions or would like to attend- RSVP to 684-7466.
